It's the time of year that those Christmas adverts hot out screens. Using music old and new sometimes these emotive pieces are successes and sometimes they are flops.
One of this years beautiful songs has come out of the 2020 John Lewis Christmas advert. All the necessary bits are there, strings, piano and Christmas bells topped by the rich vocals of Celeste. Unlike many, this is an original and not a cover as used in many ads over the years.
So who is Celeste? She is an American born British singer songwriter that has won Brit Award for Rising Star and BBC Music Award for Introducing Artist of the Year. Celeste has released two extended plays and is expected to release her debut studio album Not Your Muse in 2021. She is signed to Polydor records and is definitely one to watch. Her rich tones have been compared to Amy Winehouse and we are sure you'll be hearing alot more from this talented lady.
The single Give a Little Love is an uplifting and poignant tune with a beauiful message.
