Denmark have cruised to victory against Wales with a convincing 2-0 win in Copenhagen.
Mikkel Damsgaard proved to be the architect of Wales’ problems, with his first free-kick causing a mix-up and leading to Ben Davies scoring an own goal.
Another set-piece led to chaos in the Wales penalty area, eventually falling to Gustav Isaksen, whose deflected effort beat Danny Ward.
Craig Bellamy’s side were unable to find an answer in another frustrating evening for his players.
Denmark went close 15 minutes in after Isaksen unleashed an ambitious strike on goal, which went narrowly wide.
The Danish winger looked the most dangerous threat, and he nearly produced the goods 25 minutes in.
A brilliant delivery by Rasmus Hojlund was converted home on the volley by Isaksen, but after a VAR check, Hojlund was deemed offside in the build-up.
Damsgaard then rattled the post from distance as pressure continued to grow on the Welsh defence.

Johnson nearly turned provider after a brilliant run saw the winger pick out Kieffer Moore, whose close-range effort was tipped over by Filip Jorgensen.
The second half started with Neco Williams having a drive from distance, well-saved by Jorgensen after a double deflection.
Five minutes after the Williams chance, Denmark took the lead after a wicked delivery by Damsgaard was knocked home by Davies trying to stop Hojlund.
Denmark should have made it two after a brilliant counter-attack started by Isaksen found substitute Mohammed Darammy, who dragged his shot wide.
The home side eventually got their second after another Damsgaard free kick caused chaos in the Wales defence.
A ricochet fell to Isaksen, who converted home off the bar to make it 2-0.
Wales nearly pulled one back with 15 minutes to play, after a great ball to the 18-year-old box found Connor Roberts, who failed to find a way past Jorgensen.
Hojlund thought he made it three but was in an offside position to spare Wales’ blushes.
Williams then had the ball in the back of Denmark’s net, but the referee had already blown for a foul committed by Ethan Ampadu, which looked very soft.
The home side saw out proceedings, leaving Wales at the foot of their Nations League group with no points.
