Jeremy Clarkson to ‘build his own car’ using Diddly Squat materials in new Clarkson’s Farm special

Jeremy Clarkson will return to his motoring roots in a brand-new special episode of Amazon Prime’s hit show, Clarkson’s Farm.

The new episode, Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special, will see the TV legend return to screens in the latest edition of the popular franchise.

Jeremy Clarkson will attempt to grow and build his very own car from produce grown at his Diddly Squat Farm.

The popular Oxfordshire farm has already been used to grow wheat and barley, potatoes and mushrooms, and even wasabi.

Clarkson’s latest special episode will feature a “world-first” as he attempts to build a new car, rather than invest in a “new” one.

The former Top Gear host will use a Jaguar F-Type V6S as his base vehicle, as he searches for a “sweet spot between analogue driving thrill and modern practicality”.

Clarkson has a storied history with the Jaguar F-Type, having used a V6 Supercharged VS in The Grand Tour: Sand Job in 2024.

Alongside Richard Hammond and James May, Jeremy Clarkson navigated around Mauritania in an F-Type for the Amazon Prime special.

Having used the F-Type to traverse the West African nation, Clarkson said he returned to the UK and “bought one immediately”.

He described the Jaguar as “so impressive”, adding that it was “so tough and so unbreakable”, before poking fun at Hammond’s Aston Martin Volante V12.

In Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special, the 66-year-old will make use of products found around Diddly Squat Farm.

This will include his very own Diddly leather interior and wool carpets, as well as making use of revolutionary growing techniques.
