Wizz Air has three brand-new routes from London Luton Airport to Spain, with flights to Málaga, Granada and Asturias (Oviedo) all launching this week.
Year-round fares start from just £26.99, and flights will depart from London multiple times a week.
Airlines regularly update their flight offerings, and other major companies have expanded their services this week. British Airways launches two exclusive routes to European holiday spots, with some tickets from just £5. This week, Ryanair also added routes to eight magical destinations for winter 2026, and fares are available for less than £30.
Wizz Air’s new destinations now mean its Spanish network has 10 connections to the UK, giving travellers plenty of choice beyond the typical summer beach break.
Services run multiple times a week on all three routes, so whether it’s a long weekend or an extended holiday, there’s flexibility for all schedules.
Málaga is a popular pick where Britons can trade the UK’s grey skies for some Mediterranean warmth once the summer crowds have gone.
The city’s historic old town, waterfront tapas spots and cultural highlights like the Picasso Museum make it a great winter city break. Come December, visitors can enjoy the famous Christmas lights along Calle Larios.
Granada, meanwhile, offers something a bit unexpected. Not only is it a fantastic cultural destination in its own right, but it is also close to the Sierra Nevada — one of Europe’s most southerly ski resorts. With the ski season starting soon, holidaymakers can pair morning sightseeing with afternoon runs on the slopes.

Asturias is one for travellers looking to get off the beaten track. The region is known for its dramatic coastline, lush green mountains and charming villages — ideal for a slower-paced escape.

Managing Director at Wizz Air UK, Yvonne Moynihan, said: “Spain has always been a favourite with British holidaymakers, but there’s so much more to the country than a summer beach holiday.
“From winter sunshine in Málaga, and tapas in Granada, to skiing in the Sierra Nevada or discovering the beautiful coastline of Asturias, these destinations show just how much Spain has to offer beyond the summer months.”
